joschminute: two weeks ago you asked me to add ncurses-bin to the dependencies of reform-desktop-full -- do you remember what prompted that?09:43

joschch: i might need help with util-linux, that is with lsblk14:00
joschch: this sometimes (about 80% of the time) shows lsblk outputting the empty string: https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-tools/-/blob/1c501f1a04dda5b99b592639bdbcc246edef3abe/bin/reform-rescue-shell#L14614:01

rick_i'm curios regarding pocket throttling in the summer. did someone test this already with room temperaturs around 25 degrees? Currently i don't come that much into trottle situation.. but my room is also around 19 degress. dunno how difference this 6 degreese make XD18:49
+ voltaire28_ (~jlafon@28.162.2.93.rev.sfr.net)18:49
joschrick_: what are you worried about? I used it at 38°C in Portugal last summer.19:01
rick_josch i'm notreally worried.. but i thought that maybe ill get in a more problematic heat situation faster in summer, but yeah sounds like its not a problem at all19:16
rick_i already had phones shutdown in the sun and so on.. thats why i asked XD19:17
rick_and my flat somtimes gets kinda hot ^^v19:17
joschrick_: i think it's more dangerous for the pocket inside my backpack. Since it cannot suspend/resume (yet) I have it always on and depending on what I was running, it sometimes heats up to 85°C in there (which is the point at which the CPU throttles to not over-heat).19:19
joschi have not yet managed to get it into a situation where the automatic throttling failed to keep it below 85°C19:19
rick_haha yeah, same.. 85 was max at my end too. and this thanks to nexcloud talk.. i love browsers XD19:21
rick_regarding the backpack situation. pausing my application really helps to keep it cool. i  wrote a small script for that19:26
joschrick_: pausing via SIGSTOP?19:28

bpyeI find the sunlight is a bigger issue for my Pocket Reform. Since it's black it heats up a lot, even if the ambient temperature is low. Doesn't appear to be a real issue though I can't tell if it's impacting WiFi reliability.22:13
