MartiniMoeI was just wondering about modding my pocket reform... There is no internally usable USB port for expansion cards, correct? In could only use the m.2 key m or the qwiic port for internal expandability, correct?07:38

kbinghamminute, you mentioned somewhere that you have a platform with QCS6490 I think with the RAW sensors connected directly. That one should run libcamera GPU ISP at an apparently measured 42 FPS at 4k resolution.  There is ongoing work to enable the HW ISP in upstream too but there's no specific project funding the work so no commitment on timescales for that.09:39

minutekbingham: cool, that's quite substantial performance though12:02
kbinghamIt will still be better when we get the HW ISP supported upstream of course ;-) but it's a stop-gap :-)12:03
+ GNUmoon (~GNUmoon@gateway/tor-sasl/gnumoon)12:05
kbinghamAnd it's already mainline - so if you've got your cameras hooked through camss in device tree - it shoudl just work already. But the images are likely to be a bit 'green' until the cameras are put through a light-box for some CCM tuning.12:05

minutekbingham: right, the green/purpleness is of course already a thing in the gstreamer tests. a friend made a .icc profile though that kinda works15:00
kbinghamminute, can you share the .icc profile ?15:00
kbinghamI'll be curious if I can convert that to a libcamera tuning file - then it just happens inline for webcam calls etc.15:01
minutekbingham: ok let me find it... it has been a while since i tried it, but i'll need to get back to it very soon15:03
minutekbingham: btw my current pipeline that i'd like to replace is sth like: > gst-launch-1.0 -e -v v4l2src device=/dev/video5 ! "video/x-raw,format=YUY2,width=1920,height=1080" ! rawvideoparse use-sink-caps=true width=1920 height=1080 format=gray16-le ! capssetter join=false replace=true caps="video/x-bayer,format=bggr10le,width=1920,height=1080,framerate=24/1" ! bayer2rgb ! lcms15:05
minuteinput-profile=reform.icc ! rotate angle=3.14159 ! videoconvert ! autovideosink15:05
minutekbingham: so we used bggr10le wrapped in 16-bit15:06
kbinghamwhen you get chance, please put that and the reform.icc in an email to me at kieran.bingham@ideasonboard.com 15:06
minuteok, can do it right now15:06

minutea bit of USB-C DP works on that kernel, but i already discovered some little bugs last night, it stops working when changing the resolution. because of DP driver suspend/resume things that i'll have to test/fixup now17:24
