lidstahplayed a bit with other compositors than sway this week, mango is quite nice (dwl based, with effects added through scenefx, really smooth), IonWL (Notion-like, sadly vibecoded and it shows, gaming performance being awful due to using an old smithay version) and Cagebreak (Ratpoison/stumpwm-like, quite promising but clearly the paint is not dry yet). Right now using mango for fun but probably01:44
lidstahwill came back to sway soon. I miss Notion (for its lua modularity) and StumpWM, loved being able to add/patch/reevaluate functions live (Common Lisp :')).01:44

joschwow, paperwm could be my gateway drug into gnome o014:50

joschminute: while testing the next reform-tools release, I noticed that on rk3588-dsi classic reform, moving the brightness slider in gnome to the left turns the display completely black at around 20% of the slider -- it should probably not become completely black even at 0%, no? Is that a known problem?16:48
