joschminute: heads-up: Debian kernel package maintainers plan to upload 7.2 to unstable soon because 7.1 is EOL.10:26
joschstephano has a the patch stack ported to 7.2 and I'm running it right now on rk3588-dsi classic reform10:27
joschThat being said it would be nice to have https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-debian-packages/-/merge_requests/195 merged (after you have reviewed it and found it acceptable) because otherwise every MR (like your MR202 from yesterday) create double work. It would be nice to use the new infrastructure for 7.2 once it's in unstable.10:30
joschstephano: the above being said, 7.2 still fails the dtbs_check job10:30
joschabout urgency: the Debian kernel maintainers might delay the upload of 7.2 for a bit because it breaks flash-kernel. I have a fix which we can apply via reform-debian-packages if they decide to ignore the issue i found. It will make systems only using boot.scr unbootable and I'd just consider it RC.10:32
joschthere is no bug report about the flash-kernel issue yet (because i'm traveling) but i wrote them on #debian-kernel and the right people know about it10:32
